2025 Jackson Holmes Salmon Run Duathlon Event

The Duathlon Event has been upgraded for 2025! We have brought you a solid day out of biking and running to put that winter training to the test!

Competitors will start their 38.5km bike on Rakaia Barrhill Methven Road outside the Rakaia Domain and head to to Accommodation Road before turning around where the real fun will begin with the downhill leg back to the Rakaia Domain.

Competitors will then transition to the Run at the south end of the Rakaia Domain. The 14.75km Run will take coompetitors through the Domain, then  heading west on the River Trail and completing a loop including 'The Scramble'. Competitors will then  head back down to the Domain for a lap of the Rugby Feild before finishing with a run for glory up the Center Line to the Finish Line... could this 70m section be your fastest effort of the Day?
