MULTISPORT EVENT
Bike - Run - Kayak - Run
Starting at the Rakaia Domain entrance, with an approx 36km bike ride west along the Rakaia-Barrhill-Methven Road, transitioning to a *1.5km run to get to kayaks through farm and riverbed. Then kayaking the 14km course, (depending on river conditions) to another run transition, running the next *11.5km through riverbed tracks, farmland and the Rakaia Walkway to finish back at the Rakaia Domain.
Total run is approximately 13km. *courses are subject to change
Many competitors enter this event to gain experience, and training for the Coast to Coast.
PLAN B - Because all our events are weather and river dependent, if in the case of a cancellation of the Multisport, all competitors will be offered the option of entering the Long Duathlon event.

Multisport Tandem
Tandem means both competitors bike, kayak and run with runners with both finishing together. Competitors must supply their own tandem kayak and abide by all the rules associated with the main multisport event.
